In January-July of the current year the Black Sea Oil Terminal of SOCAR in Kulevi (Georgia) received about two million tons of oil and oil products.
In July, the oil terminal received about 410 thousand tons of oil cargo and sent out 408 thousand tons.

Through the territory of Georgia Azerbaijan exports its oil and gas via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline and Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipeline.

20.05.10The presentation of the project of supplying Poti with gas
On May 20 of the current year in Poti SOCAR Georgia Gas, Ltd held a presentation of the project of supplying the city with gas.
In 2010 it is planned to construct the gas network in Poti. Overall 158 km of gas pipelines will be built. Upon the completion of construction the amount of potential subscribers in Poti will equal 21 000. Besides, 174 sites of various purpose will be supplied with gas.
20.05.10Black Sea Terminal of SOCAR started to trans-ship crude oil for the first time
The Black Sea oil terminal of company SOCAR in Kulevi started to trans-ship Kazakhstan oil of the deposit "Tengiz". The right approach of the company towards the main directions of developing the business strategy and meeting international standards by the terminal in any operations attracted such an important transporter of crude oil as Tengizshevroil. It produces four types of high quality production for using it both inside and outside the Republic.

The quality of Azeri petrol sold in Georgia meets the operating standards, said Vakhtang Iobashvili, head of the agency for certification of oil products "Monitoring".
According to him, in May "Monitoring" carried out a quality check of fuel imported by SOCAR Georgia Petroleum,Ltd and implemented the certification process.
